Boko Haram Bomb Blast Kills One, Leaves Several Injured

The bomb which was reportedly buried by suspected Boko Haram terrorists occurred some minutes after 2pm on Sunday as a some boys scavenging at the dump site dug out the unsuspecting bomb which subsequently exploded with them.
According to a resident’s account, the explosion in Mubi took place at a dump site at Kabang area.
“It is suspected that some boys scavenging the dump tampered with an abandoned IED and it detonated,” a security source said.
The explosion killed one on the spot, one was severely injured with limps cut off with a little chance of survival while another boy was found in a pool of blood.
