A meeting suspected to be boarding on the ongoing case of Senate President Bukola Saraki with the police held between Vice President Yemi Osinbajo , inspector-general of police, Ibrahim Idris, and director-general of Department of State Security, (DSS, (DSS) Lawal Daura, today at the presidential villa in Abuja.

The police had invited Saraki for questioning after suspects arrested in connection with the robbery in Offa, Kwara state, allegedly implicated him.

They said they had plans to probe Saraki alleged connection to the suspects who claim to be his thugs.
Also at the meeting between the two was Abubakar Malami, attorney-general of the federation and minister of justice.

On leaving the meeting, state house correspondents asked the police IG what the agenda was, but he said all inquires should be directed to the aide-de-camp to the vice-president.
