El-Rufai Tells Employers To Help Batch A Corps Members Deployed To The State To Settle
“Rejection of corps members is unacceptable,it is against the spirit and noble intentions behind the establishment of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).” Kaduna state Governor,Nasir El-Rufai has told employers and organizations in regards to the Corp members ‘one year national service in the state.
El-Rufai made this warning through the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture, Alhaji Musa Adamu at the official closing of the orientation course for 2,200, 2018 batch ‘A’ corps members deployed to the state.
The governor suggested that instead of rejection, employers should rather help the corps members to settle down as quick as possible to enable them contribute their quota to the development of their fatherland.
Earlier in his address, the state coordinator of the scheme, Alhaji Dahunsi Mohammed appealed to government to provide “additional hostel facilities to accommodate the increasing number of corps members deployed to the state as well as the camp officials.”
