Four Die, Eight Injured As Suicide Bombers Attack Mosque In Bama
No fewer than four persons were killed and eight others wounded in a suicide bomb attack on Sunday at a mosque in Bama Local Government Area of Borno.
The attack came barely four weeks after thousands of displaced persons were resettled in the community.
Two Feared Dead As APC Caucus Meeting Turns Bloody
A stakeholders caucus meeting of the All Progressives People’s Congress in Benue State Zone C held at the Double K resort Otukpo has left two people dead TheNigerian reports.
Eyewitness accounts stated that few minutes after the meeting was concluded gun shots rang out around the Zone C APC Secretariat on Old Otobi Road and one person was confirmed dead on the spot.
INEC Denies Creating 30,000 New Polling Units
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has denied creating 30,000 additional polling units in order to compromise the 2019 general elections.
Mr. Kola Ologbondiyan, National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party`s (PDP), on Friday alleged that INEC was planning to create 30,000 illegal polling units in some remote areas.
4 Boko Haram Insurgents, 3 Soldiers, 2 Vigilante Killed In Borno
The Nigeria Army has said that it has neutralized four Boko Haram insurgents in separate operation and also recovered Arms from the insurgents in Borno State
The Director, Army Public Relations, Brig.-Gen. Texas Chukwu, in a statement Revealed that three soldiers and two members of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) also lost their lives in the encounter.
