22 Year Old Man Rapes 13 Year Old Girl In Niger
A 22-year-old man, Chukwuebuka Nnaji, has been apprehended by the Niger State Police Command for allegedly raping a 13-year-old girl.
The rape was reported to have taken place in Madalla, Suleja Local Government Area of the state.
Further investigation revealed that the suspect had invited the victim to a hotel at Madalla Junction, claiming he had a gift for her.
Naija News gathered that, Nnaji took the victim to an isolated area in the bush and had carnal knowledge of her.
The suspect, who is a shop attendant, said, “I knew she is an underage girl; that was the reason why I have not impregnated her. I want her to be of age, so I can marry her.”
He added, “I had sex with her because I wanted to deflower her but it has dawned on me that I was simply infatuated.”
Muhammad Abubakar, the state Police Public Relations Officer, in a statement released said the suspect confessed during interrogation, adding that he would soon be arraigned in court.
