CHAN 2018: Rwanda Force Home Based Eagles To Goalless Draw

The home based Super Eagles opened the 2018 CHAN tournament with a barren draw against their counterparts from Rwanda.

The Salisu Yusuf coached Eagles, dominated proceedings but were unable to convert any of their several shots on goal.

The Eagles hit the woodwork on three occasions in the course of the game but at the end of the day, the points were shared as the game ended 0-0.

The home based Eagles also had 24 shots while their counterparts from Rwanda were only able to register 4 shots.

Nigeria will next face Libya who defeated Equatorial Guinea 3-0 in their opening game while Rwanda take on Equatorial Guinea.
