FRSC seeks corporation of road users in having an accident free celebration.

The Federal Road Safety Commission in Ogun says any motorist caught driving against traffic will loose the vehicle till after the Christmas and end of year celebrations.

This was disclosed by the Ogun Sector Commander of the FRSC, Mr Clement Oladele in an interview with newsmen on Friday.

According to him, though it sounds harsh, the measures are only part of efforts by the commission to protect human lives and property particularly during the festive season.

“Our goal this year is to attain zero death as we projected that over 300,000 passengers would be travelling to various destinations during festive period.

“We will be delighted seeing people travelling for the Christmas and New Year celebration to arrive safely at their various destinations,” he said.

Oladele, who further warned motorists against drunk driving and overspeeding, solicited the coporation of all road users in ensuring accident free festive season.
