Yul Edochie reveals why he was absent at governorship debate.

Actor Yul Edochie, the flagbearer of Democratic People’s Congress (DPC) in the forthcoming November 18 Anambra State governorship election, says he was not invited for the governorship debate organized by Channels TV for the candidates.

Naija News gathered that Tony Nwoye of the All Progressives Congress (APC), incumbent Governor Willie Obiano of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Oseloka Obaze of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), Godwin Ezeemo of the Progressive Peoples’ Party (PPA), and Osita Chidoka of the United Progressives Party (UPP) were present at the debate.

However, Yul Edochie, who was not present at the debate because he was not invited, expressed his optimism via his Twitter handle.

He tweeted: “I wasn’t invited to the debate. But it’s nothing to worry about. We’ll keep the spirit high and keep campaigning.

“It’s time for the masses to have a say. November 18th, stand with me, the future is in our hands.”
