Dambazzau absent as Buhari presides over FEC meeting
The Minister of Interior, Lt.-Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau (retd.), was absent at the Federal Executive Council, FEC, meeting yesterday at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Dambazzau is one of the government officials hooked in the controversy surrounding the reinstatement and recall of the embattled former Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on Pension Reforms, Abdulrasheed Maina.

Information obtained by Punch, however, reveals that the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, and the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Winifred Oyo-Ita, who were also pointed out in Maina’s case were present.
Naija News had reported that the FEC meeting was postponed yesterday till today, Thursday due to the unfinished 2018 budget.
