Abubakar Sani Bello, the Governor of Niger State has described General Ibrahim Badamsi Babangida as a patriotic Nigeria and testimony of good leadership on his 77th birthday.

The statement was revealed in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Jibrin Baba Ndac, celebrating with the former military president on his birthday.

The statement read: “General Babangida’s life has remained a testimony to the power of good leadership and purposeful living.

“He is an enigma, political colossus, and a patriotic Nigerian.

“The former military leader has continued to demonstrate great statesmanship and patriotism and has remained resolute on the path of promoting national unity, integration and development.

“We salute your resilience and commitment to the service of the nation in particular and humanity in general.
