#BayelsaDecides: Diri Votes, Condemns Destruction Of Election Materials

Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri has cast his vote in the ongoing going state assembly election.

Naija News reports that Diri cast his vote at Ward 6, Unit 4, Sampou, Kolokuma/Opokuma Local Government Area of the state.

Speaking with newsmen, Diri condemned the attack on the office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the burning of election materials for three wards in Ogbia Constituency 2.

Recall that thugs on Saturday morning hijacked and burnt election materials for three wards in Ogbia Constituency 2 in the state.

It was learned that officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) deployed to the constituency are already moving back to Yenagoa for safety, as the hoodlums are on the rampage in the area.
