Wike, Fayose, Others Arrive Abia For PDP Campaign Flag-Off (Photos)

The Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike and his allies identified as the G-5 have arrived in Abia State to grace the flag-off of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) campaign in the state.

Naija News had earlier reported that the G-5 would be at the event to honour the state Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, who is one of them.

The acting publicity secretary of PDP, Abraham Amah had disclosed that the governorship candidate of the party, Uche Ikonne, his running mate, Okey Igwe and other PDP candidates in the forthcoming election would be formally unveiled during the campaign.

Governor Wike ahead of the official flag-off arrived in Umuahia on Wednesday evening alongside Samuel Ortom (Benue State), Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu State), and Seyi Makinde (Oyo State).

Former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose at the time of filing this report has arrived in the state to grace the flag-off of the PDP campaign.

Wike and others were received by the state Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu on Wednesday evening.

The flag-off of the campaign which will be held today has been slated for the Umuahia Township Stadium.

PDP would be hoping to retain the state in the 2023 general elections.
