2023: Peter Obi, Ifeanyi Okowa Hug At Margaret Obaigbena’s Burial (Photos)

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi on Saturday attended the burial of Margaret Obaigbena in Delta State.

Obi during the funeral ceremony met with the Vice presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party and Governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa.

The former Governor of Anambra State during the event took out time to share pleasant greetings.

Obi and Okowa to the surprise of attendees at the event shared hugs despite their rivalry ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

Okowa while speaking at his event took to his Instagram account to share a video as he sent a condolence message to the family of Onyemakonor.

The vice presidential candidate described the deceased as a mother to all, adding that she impacted lives while alive.

The Delta State Governor in the condolence message said, “Princess Margaret Onyemakonor Obaigbena, the mother of my dear brother and friend, Prince Ndukka Obaigbena, was a mother to all.

“Throughout her impactful lifetime, with the way she raised her family and contributed to the development of her community and the people she interacted with across the nation, Dame Obaigbena was a woman whose faith and works struck the perfect balance”.
