A video of a Nigerian policeman gifting a group of passengers cash gift for Christmas has surfaced on social media.

In the now-viral video, the yet-to-be-identified policeman was seen gifting a group of passengers in a tricycle in Enugu cash gift for Christmas.

The policeman who inspected the tricycle and the number of passengers in it, gave money individually to the passengers whilst wishing them a merry Christmas and Happy New year.

The gesture which is quite unusual was commended by Nigerians on social media.

Meanwhile, a policeman, Yemisi Opalola, who was allegedly caught on camera drunk, was been arrested by the Osun state police command.

Naija News reports that the security operative was taken into custody on the basis of indiscipline.

The Osun state PPRO, Yemisi Opalola revealed that the officer was currently undergoing an orderly room trial.

The Osun State Police Command in its continued efforts to rid the Command of all forms of unethical behaviours, unprofessional acts and indiscipline, has identified, arrested and detained the police officer, Sgt Onatunde Joba that was drunk and whose video went viral.

“Investigation and disciplinary actions have commenced.”
