2019 Elections: Daura Youths Promise To Purchase Nomination Forms For Buhari, Masari

Ahead of the 2019 elections, Daura Emirate Youth Progressive Movement, on Sunday, said it would purchase nominations forms for President Muhammadu Buhari and Katsina State Governor, Aminu Masari to enable them re-contest.

The chairman of the movement, Malam Abdulkadir Lawal, said this in Daura at a rally which had in attendance youths from all local governments areas in the state.

He said the movement decided to purchase the forms due to Buhari and Masari’s overwhelming performances in office.

“We will purchase the forms as part of our contribution to support the two political leaders to recontest during the polls.”

“Governor Masari has succeeded in transforming education, infrastructure and health sectors in the state within the last two years.”

He added that Buhari had succeeded in the war against corruption and inculcated discipline in every sector.

He also commended the president on security, saying Northeast region was in turmoil due to Boko Haram insurgents’ activities before he came to power.

The Commissioner for Justice, Ahmad Al-Murzuk and his counterpart for Youth and Sports, Alhaji Abu Dankum, in their remarks, said the movement’s decision was timely.
