Buhari lacks governing skills – Agbakoba

Agbakoba says Buhari does not understand how to run government.

Dr. Olisa Agbakoba, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) has described President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration as incompetent, saying the president is “sleeping on the job” and lacks understanding of how to govern.

Agbakoba told newsmen in Lagos, “Government’s work is misunderstood even by the President. He doesn’t understand the nature of how to run a government.”

He blamed the non-performance of Buhari’s government on his ministers whom he said are incompetent to execute the portfolios assigned to them.

He gave examples of such ministers as Geoffrey Onyeama, a lawyer, appointed as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Kayode Fayemi, the Minister of Solid Minerals Development.

According to him, Fayemi and Enyeama were brilliant men, but were round pegs in square holes.

“Buhari needs to sack his entire cabinet because they have failed,” Agbakoba said.
