See 440 pump action rifles confiscated at in Lagos port

NaijaNews.com reported yesterday that the Nigeria customs service (NCS) intercepted a container-load of arms and ammunition at the Tin Can Island Port in Lagos state.

The service later confirmed Yesterday that 440 pump action rifles were found in the container imported from Turkey.

The container was said to be found at a terminal in the port.

Recall that a Mack truck containing 49 boxes of pump-action rifles was intercepted on by the Lagos State Command of the Nigeria Customs  along the Mile 2 Apapa Road.

The intercepted truck was carrying a fake manifest stating that it carried still doors, before the customs officials discovered otherwise.
