Charly Boy Speaks On Leaving 48-Year-Old Marriage Over Boringness

Veteran entertainer Charly Boy has explained his remarks about his long marriage, saying he has no plans to leave his wife despite admitting that relationships can become boring after many years.

Naija News reports that the singer had earlier sparked reactions after speaking about his 48-year marriage to his wife, Diane, and describing some aspects of the union as repetitive and boring.

Amid the discussions that followed, Charly Boy took to his social media page to clarify his position.

He said he had chosen to remain in the marriage and would continue to make it work with his wife.

According to him, he believes staying with a partner he has known for decades is better than starting afresh with someone else.

Charly Boy also suggested that women, regardless of their background, share many similar traits, making it unnecessary for him to seek another relationship.

The veteran entertainer added that he and his wife would continue managing their differences and moving forward together.

He jokingly remarked that after spending so many years together, couples can eventually become more like siblings due to the deep familiarity that develops over time.
