I Love How They Dress – Beverly Osu Opens Up On Dream Of Becoming Reverend Sister
Nollywood actress Beverly Osu has shared that she once had plans to join a convent and become a Reverend Sister before she eventually moved into the entertainment world.
Naija News reports that she spoke about this during an appearance on the Creativtea Podcast, where she explained that her strict Catholic background played a big role in shaping her early life decisions.
According to her, she grew up in Lagos, moving around areas like Surulere, Yaba, and Ojuelegba, which she described as part of her upbringing in the city.
Beverly also said she attended Daughters Of Divine Love Juniorate in Enugu, where she became serious about the idea of joining a religious order.
The reality TV star explained that at that time, she truly saw herself following that path.
She added that what attracted her most to the idea of religious life was the discipline and neat appearance of priests and Reverend Sisters.
She said she admired how clean and orderly they looked and that her own love for neatness made the lifestyle appealing to her.
She said: “I was meant to be a Reverend Sister. I wanted to really be a Reverend Sister. Now, I am doing God’s work in other ways.
“I love how they dress. Because I am meticulous and very neat, I just loved how clean the priests and Reverend Sisters were. Literally, that was it.”
