Manchester United Full 2026-2027 Premier League Fixtures
Manchester United will begin their 2026-27 Premier League campaign with a trip to newly-promoted Hull City on Saturday, August 22, as Michael Carrick prepares for his first full season in charge at Old Trafford.
Carrick was named the permanent coach of the team after overseeing a dramatic revival following the departure of Ruben Amorim midway through last season. The former United midfielder guided the club from sixth place to a third-place finish and secured a return to the UEFA Champions League after a two-year absence.
United’s opening weeks appear relatively kind on paper. After travelling to Hull City, they host Ipswich Town before visiting Everton. The first major test arrives on September 12 when rivals Manchester City visit Old Trafford for the season’s first derby.
The reverse fixture against City is scheduled for March 20 at the Etihad Stadium.
Another standout date comes on November 21 when United travel to Anfield to face Liverpool. The return meeting takes place at Old Trafford on January 23.
Carrick’s side also face difficult away trips to Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United during the campaign as they seek to challenge at the top end of the table.
United end their season at home against Fulham on May 30.
The fixture list has given Carrick a manageable start, but the return of Champions League football means a far busier calendar than the one United experienced last season.
