‘The Child Will Do More Exploits’ – Alex Ekubo’s Wife Reportedly Pregnant

It appears late Nollywood actor, Alex Ekubo, is expecting a child with his wife.

Naija News learnt that this follows a statement made on Wednesday, June 17, by the traditional leader of Arochukwu, in Alex Ekubo’s hometown, in Abia State.

The corpse of the late thespian had arrived in his hometown for a wake ahead of his funeral on June 18, amid many friends, family members and Nollywood stars at the event.

The convoy carrying the remains of Alex had stopped at the Eze Aro of Arochukwu’s Palace, where the traditional ruler said a prayer over the casket.

While praying in Igbo, the traditional ruler asked God to ensure that Alex’s lineage would not end.

He further claimed that they received news that Alex’s wife was pregnant, and he prayed that the child would achieve greater exploits than his popular father.

Part of his words reads, “The child we hear she’s carrying will do exploits more than his father” 

Despite the video making the rounds online, Alex’s family has not confirmed Eze’s claim, but many Nigerians have expressed joy across various social media platforms over the statement.
