We Don’t Have Candidates That Have Been To The EFCC – ADC
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has expressed fresh confidence that the party will emerge victorious across various states and at the national level in the 2027 elections.
The party also boasted that its candidates are credible and experienced individuals with no baggage of corruption hanging over their heads.
The National Publicity Secretary of the party, Bolaji Abdullahi, made the submission in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, while speaking on the sidelines of a get-together organised for party stakeholders.
He also ruled out the possibility that the ADC will collapse into any existing political party in its quest for electoral victory.
Naija News, however, reports that Abdullahi stated that the party is ready to work with other parties to form alliances for 2027 based on shared political ideologies.
Specifically, Abdullahi said the party’s membership in Kwara State was growing daily.
He also stated that the ADC would welcome members from other political parties who are willing to join the opposition party, adding that “our door is wide open.”
He pointed out that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has plunged Nigeria into worsening insecurity and economic hardship, but the ADC has the capacity to address the challenges and turn things around.
“Reported cases of kidnapping, banditry and killing have taken a serious toll on people in various states of the country, and this has become a major source of concern. This must stop, and the ADC is capable of bringing about the necessary change to move Nigeria forward,” he said.
Abdullahi urged Nigerians to mobilise support for the ADC to ensure its victory in the 2027 elections.
“We have qualified and experienced candidates. We don’t have candidates that have been to EFCC before,” he said.
