Olisa Ndah Joins Stellenbosch FC After Leaving Orlando Pirates
Super Eagles defender Olisa Ndah has officially signed for Stellenbosch FC following his exit from Orlando Pirates.
Olisa Ndah, a 28-year-old Nigerian international arrives at the Betway Premiership side on a free transfer after nearly five years with the Buccaneers, closing a significant chapter of his career at Orlando Amstel Arena.
Stellenbosch FC confirmed the signing in an official statement, praising Ndah’s leadership and wealth of experience.
“Olisa is a player with proven quality and experience at the highest level, and we are pleased to welcome him to Stellenbosch FC,” said CEO Rob Benadie.
“We are deliberate in our recruitment strategy to ensure that every signing complements the group, and having had the chance to assess him closely, we are confident he will be a valuable addition to our squad.”
Ndah, who previously won the NPFL title with Akwa United, the club’s first league crown, joins Stellenbosch after overcoming a serious tibia and fibula fracture sustained during the 2024/25 NPFL season.
The injury sidelined him for 130 days and affected his performances, but he has now resumed his career in South Africa.
He became the fourth Nigerian to represent Stellenbosch, alongside Ibraheem Jabaar, Kazie Enyinnaya, and Stanley Dimgba.
Sporting the number 99 jersey, Ndah is expected to make his debut when Stellenbosch take on Magesi FC at the Danie Craven Stadium tomorrow.
