According to Italian sports daily La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Rossoneri believe the London club are leaning towards completing the €24 million transfer, a fee that would represent one of Milan’s most lucrative outgoing deals in the upcoming window.

The report suggests Milan expect to earn twice as much from Chukwueze’s definitive sale compared to other potential departures, providing a significant financial boost as they plan their squad rebuild.

Fulham’s confidence in triggering the clause is expected to grow further if the 26 year old maintains his positive momentum in the second half of the season.

Although his campaign has been interrupted by fitness concerns, Chukwueze has still produced encouraging numbers, contributing three goals and four assists across all competitions.
