‘Wizkid Is A Leading Legend’ – Ayra Starr

Nigerian musician, Sarah Oyinkansola Aderibigbe, known professionally as Ayra Starr, has described Wizkid as a leading legend.

Naija News reports that Ayra Starr made this known during an interview on Tuesday after her performance at the Grammy Museum.

While sharing her experiences with Wizkid, Ayra Starr stated that the singer’s demeanour taught her many lessons about confidence and purpose.

According to her, Wizkid made her understand that confidence is not all about noise-making.

He said, “Wizkid is a leading legend. We all know that. My first time working with him, I just couldn’t believe it and I was myself. But the second time, he was very calm, cool, and relaxed.

“I know confidence isn’t noise. he made me have that understanding. He’s very present & confident in his life mission, and that made me learn a lot.”

In other news, Wizkid has revealed his wish for singer Asake to perform at his wedding.

He spoke during a recent appearance on Apple Music radio with DJ Tunez.

Wizkid shared that Asake’s songs have made a strong impression on him, with one track in particular, Remember being his favourite.

The singer described Asake as one of Africa’s most talented singers and praised his contributions to African music.

He mentioned that Asake’s music has been a personal favourite for a long time and expressed his hope that one of his songs will be performed at his wedding.
