PHOTOS: INEC Commences Collation Of Off-Cycle Election Results In Imo State

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has commenced the collation of Saturday’s off-cycle governorship election results in Imo State.

The electoral umpire had announced earlier that it would resume at the collation centre at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday to continue the exercise at the state collation center following the closure of voting on Saturday evening.

Meanwhile, the INEC had said that collation of Bayelsa State governorship election will results will take place at its headquarters in Yenagoa, and the exercise will commence by 10:00 am today.

The official announcement for the Start of Collation for Kogi State is still being awaited at the time of filing this report.

Recall that election results from nine wards in Ogori/Magongo Local Governement Area of the state were cancelled earlier by the umpire.

They are Eni, Okibo, Okesi, Ileteju, Aiyeromi, Ugugu, Obinoyin, Obatgben and Oturu.
