Gunmen Attack Policemen, Kill Five People In Rivers Community

At least five people have been reportedly killed by unknown gunmen in a fresh attack in the Ahoada area of Rivers State.

Naija News learnt that the assailants had ambushed a police patrol van but were unsuccessful in the attack before opening fire on the community and killing the victims.

The victims were targeted in the Odiemerenyi Community, located in the Ahoada East Local Government Area.

Vanguard quoted a source as saying that the perpetrators were members of the Iceland cult group, who were responsible for the recent killing of the DPO of Ahoada Police Division, SP Bako Angbashim.
