JUST IN: Bayelsa Lawmakers Storm INEC Office Amid Anxiety For Saturday Election Results

Some commissioners and members of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly reportedly stormed the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) office in Yenagoa, on Sunday, insisting that elections did not take place at Bassambiri, Nembe.

Speculations making the rounds are that there are irregularities in the Nembe-Bassambiri area of the state.

Naija News reports that several protests are rocking the state as of the time of filing this report as the collation of results billed to start at 10 a.m. was yet to commence.

However, results are beginning to arrive at the INEC state collation centre amid the ongoing protests. Also, stakeholders are sighted already seated at the collation centre waiting for INEC officials to come in and begin the process of collation.
