Video: Moment Political Thug Snatches Ballot Box At Bayelsa Polling Unit

A short video footage has surfaced online showing the moment a thug took away a ballot box from officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) at a polling unit in Nedugo community, Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.

Naija News reports that the video shows the thug causing commotion at the polling unit and, after that, running away with the ballot box after the voters had finished casting their ballots.

Despite some voters running after one of the thugs and throwing objects at him, the thug and his accomplices managed to outrun them and escape with the ballot box.

The footage, however, does not show any security agent present as the thug fled into the streets.

Earlier, there was a clash between supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the Famgbe area of the state, which resulted in the death of one person, Naija News reports.
