Peruzzi Speaks On Writing Hit Song For Burna Boy

In other news, Nigerian musician, Tobechukwu Okoh, popularly known as Peruzzi, has cleared the air about viral speculations that he wrote songs for his colleague in the industry, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, professionally known as Burna Boy.

There had been speculations by fans that one of Burna Boy’s hit songs was written by Peruzzi.

The rumours spread after the latter took to social media to boast about writing over 252 songs for the Nigerian music industry.

Some of Perruzi’s fans and social media followers had repeatedly criticized Burna for allegedly using many songwriters, while his fans hailed him for his lyrical prowess, referring to them as “lost children.”

Responding, however, to the lingering controversies, Peruzzi took to his handle on X (formerly Twitter) to ask his fans not to praise him for what he did not do.
