Tinubu Should Sack Wike Immediately - Atiku's Aide

Daniel Bwala, the spokesman of the Atiku Abubakar Presidential Campaign Organisation, has asked President Bola Tinubu to immediately sack the  Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike.

In a post via his verified X (formerly Twitter) handle on Monday, Bwala advised Tinubu to be extremely careful with Wike before he ruins his government’s image both locally and internationally.

The chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) also asked Governor Fubara to use the full weight of his executive powers to run Wike out of Rivers State.

He wrote: “Sim Fubara should use the full weight of his executive powers to run Wike out of town. Our democracy does not recognize authoritarianism. The person voted as the executive Governor and Chief security officer of Rivers State is Fubara.

“@officialABATis urged to be extremely careful with Wike before Wike ruins his government’s image both locally and internationally. PBAT should sack Wike without delay.”

Fubara Vs Wike

Naia News understands that there are rumours of an alleged rift between Governor Sminlayi Fubara of Rivers State and his predecessor and the FCT Minister, Wike.

The alleged fracas between the duo has created tension with a plot by members of the State House of Assembly to impeach the governor.

The tension degenerated on Sunday night when a fire outbreak occurred at the State House of Assembly to allegedly stop the planned impeachment proceedings against Governor Fubara.

However, the Majority Leader of the House, Edison Ehie, was accused of being responsible for the arson attack and removed from his position.

However, in a twist of event, Ehie emerged as the factional Speaker of the House and immediately suspended the principal officers of the assembly and the Chief Judge of the state, Simeon Amadi.

All local government chairpersons in the state have also been reportedly sacked, while the state executive council has been said to be dissolved.
