‘Rufai Oseni Will Not Like This’ – Reactions As Reuben Abati Drags Peter Obi Over Press Conference

Several reactions have trailed the comments of a veteran Nigerian journalist, Reuben Abati, on the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi.

Naija News recalls Obi, during his Press Conference in Abuja on Wednesday, called on President Bola Tinubu to re-introduce himself to Nigerians and say the truth about his name, identity, school records and other details.

However, Abati, on Thursday during the Morning Show on Arise TV, said the press conference held by Obi was needless, adding that the LP candidate should stop moralizing issues.

The former presidential aide asserted that the former Anambra State Governor should stop seeking undue media attention and asked him to seek a career in evangelism.

Abati said Obi should understand the certificate issue is already before the Supreme Court, and the court should be allowed to do its work.

Following the development, some netizens took to the micro-blogging platform, X, to berate the veteran journalist for attacking the LP presidential candidate, while others commended Abati for telling Obi the truth.
