‘We Deserve Palliatives Too’ – Oil Marketers Cry Out To FG

Oil marketers under the umbrella of the Natural Oil and Gas Suppliers Association of Nigeria (NOGASA) have cried out to the Federal government to make provisions for an urgent palliative for them in other to avert a collapse of the sector.

The association insisted that “the success of this government highly depends on the survival of the oil industry, whose critical stakeholders are presently most negatively affected.”

At its National Executive Meeting (NEC), on Thursday, the National President of the NOGASA, Benneth Korie, said it was a great idea that the federal government had made palliative provisions for the citizens to cushion the effect of the removal of fuel subsidy.

Korie, however, said that oil marketers also need palliative to cushion the effect of fuel subsidies in the sector.
