Bendel Insurance Announce Exit Of Imade Osarenkho To UAE

Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) club, Bendel Insurance have confirmed that their center-forward, Imade Osarenkho has joined a United Arab Emirates club.

The Edo state-owned football club which were very close to winning the NPFL last season, took to their X account to confirm that Imade Osarenkho has signed with UAE’s United FC.

Osarenkho signed a four-year deal with United FC which is expected to keep him at the club in the middle east until June 30, 2027, according to the Nigerian club.

However, the club didn’t disclose how much the Middle East side paid to secure the services of the vibrant and young striker.

The 22-year-old forward made his name in NPFL at the Benin-based club. He has however played twice for another Nigerian club Wiki Tourists.

Hence, the United FC will be the third professional club he will be contracted to as he continues to grow his career.

Imade Osarenkho, who is also known as “The Black Bullet”, scored 10 goals and provided 3 assists in 27 games in all competitions for Bendel Insurance

He provided one assist and scored two goals in three 2023-2024 CAF Confederation Cup games. He failed to score any goal in five NPFL play-off games last season.

The last time Osarenkho played and scored for Bendel Insurance was on September 16, 2023, against RSB Berkane during the first leg of the Confederation Cup’s second preliminary round which ended in a 2-2 draw in Edo state.

With his exit to the UAE, the striker won’t be available for the second leg of the tie which is scheduled to take place in Morocco on Friday, September 19, 2023.
