Ganduje Declares Position On Ondo APC Governorship Primary Which Produced Aiyedatiwa

The Arewa Traders Association has pleaded with the national chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, to use his office to secure government appointments for them.

The chairman of the association in the FCT and 19 northern states, Adam Ibrahim, made the demand on Tuesday when he led a delegation to the national secretariat of the party in Abuja.

He noted that his members worked for the success of the party during the 2023 general election.

According to Ibrahim, “You are aware that members of this noble association are well educated in all spheres of life, and we constitute the majority in our economic and political contribution.

“We would like you to use your good office to ensure the inclusion of traders in the various governmental appointments and committees so that traders will feel confident in the campaign activities for the party.”

Responding, Ganduje urged the Arewa Traders in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to cooperate with FCT Minister Nyesom Wike.

He added that security is a top priority on the agenda of President Bola Tinubu.

His words: “I assure you, Mr. President is providing an enabling environment for you to do your legitimate activities. He is working very hard on the security of this nation.

“So you know, and likely enough, you have a competent, Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, the former governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, who came from a big city himself but has now gotten another mandate to administer another big city, the Federal Capital Territory. So I urge you to cooperate with him so that he can create a decent environment for commercial activities in the megacity of Abuja.”
