Aisha Yesufu Reacts As Tribunal Sacks Kogi Senator Caught Kneeling Before Gov. Bello

Political activist, Aisha Yesufu has reacted to President Bola Tinubu’s alleged statement in court, claiming that a clerk in the Chicago State University is responsible for the irregularities in his result.

Naija News recalls that the President said the unnamed clerk, “unfortunately” made the errors as to the dates the school stated on his recently-issued certificate and when he actually graduated, thereby creating “the appearance of differences.”

Tinubu’s statement was filed on August 23 by his counsel as part of his argument before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in Chicago.

Judge Jeffrey Gilbert had given the Nigerian politician until August 23 to explain why his academic records at CSU should not be released to his political opponent Atiku Abubakar.

Reacting to the president’s reason for the anomaly in his result, Yesufu wondered when Tinubu would finally take responsibility and blame himself.

Speaking via Twitter, she wrote, “When will Tinubu take responsibility and blame himself?”

Yesufu Taunts Wike Over Acquisition Of Alleged N300 Million Vehicle

Meanwhile, Yesufu, has taunted the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, over the alleged acquisition of a bulletproof SUV worth N300 million.

Naija News reports that Wike’s choice of automobile with the plate number ‘FCT – 01’ for his first day at work on Tuesday got many people talking.

A search on the official Lexus website puts the price of this SUV starting from $100,115.

Wike, while speaking after a tour of the Abuja Light Rail, called on newsmen to confirm if the SUV was bulletproof.

He said, “We are now going to the office to have a direct report from each of the departments, but I have seen what is going on in the social media, how you (FCTA Permanent Secretary) bought a bulletproof car of N300 Million Naira that I am using.

So I want you people to go hit your hand there (on the car) and see whether it is a treated car. With all due respect, people should be careful not to destroy other people.”

Reacting to this, Yesufu made a mockery of Wike’s press interview on the alleged acquisition, stressing she would not stand to listen to such an address.

She said, “This is what he gathered human beings to tell them? As I get older I thank God I went into business early on in life. I don’t have the temperament to listen to this kind of nonsense. I would have walked away.”
