Protesters Storm APC Headquarters, Seek Appointment Of Ex-Presidential Aspirant As Youth Minister

Protesters on Wednesday stormed the national headquarters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja to demand that President Bola Tinubu consider appointing former presidential aspirant, Dr Nicholas Felix, as the next minister of youths.

The protesters, which consists of men and women, were captured chanting solidarity songs and displaying several banners with inscriptions that read, “Mr. President, give us youths advocate of our time”, “All we are saying, appoint Nicolas Felix youth minister”, and “Nicolas Felix, the man we need.”

The protesters are under the aegis of the Conglomeration of APC Young Stakeholders.

Allow your son Seyi to choose youth minister, APC youth leaders tell Tinubu

Meanwhile, the youth leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have demanded that President Bola Tinubu grants his son, Seyi Tinubu the permission midwife the selection of the position of Youth Minister.

In a letter dated 21st August, titled ‘Clarion call for a purposeful minister of youth that is fit for the job,’ the youth leaders described Seyi Tinubu as one who ‘painstakingly strengthened the youth wing of the party,’ and understands ‘the vigor needed to drive campaigns.’

They added that Seyi was the best fit to chose the most competence hands, because he had during the elections, ‘travelled at odd hours to numerous states across federation canvasing support for the success of the Tinubu-led administration.’

They noted that Seyi will be favourable to choose the right candidate for the position because he understands the importance of a viabe ministry of youths.
