Ghanaian dancehall singer, Charles Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale, has applauded the achievements and growth of Nigerian singers.

Naija News reports that the singer, while congratulating fast-rising Nigerian artiste, Asake, who sold out the 20,000-capacity O2 Arena in London, United Kingdom, over the weekend, said the successes of Nigerian musicians had dwarfed the achievements of their Ghanaian counterparts.

In a post shared on Twitter, Shatta Wale said Nigerians are winning big time, making the Ghanaian music industry look like a feeding bottle when compared to Hennessy bottle.

He wrote, “Nigerians [artistes] are making Ghana music look like feeding bottle compared to Hennessy bottle. Congrats to Asake meeenn!!!

“You guys deh run tooo fast …F*ck

“PS: Some Ghana man say how do they do it?

“Me: when you stop judging people here like you are angels, I think we can get the formula.

“Naija is winning BIG TIME !!! My people.”

Sister Of Fan Who Died At Asake’s Concert Drags Singer

In other news, the sister of Rebecca Ikumelo, a 33-year-old fan who tragically lost her life after sustaining injuries during a crowd crush outside London’s Brixton Academy at Asake’s concert, has voiced her disapproval of the artist using Rebecca’s image without consulting the family.

Asake, during a recent concert at the 02 Arena, paid tribute again to persons who died at Brixton Academy last year in December, 2022.

Speaking about the tribute paid by the singer, Racheal said the tribute was inappropriate, adding that she wished he had spoken to them beforehand.
