Video: American Star, Toni Braxton Serenades Obaseki, Tonye Cole, Others At Public Event

A video showing the moment American R&B singer, Toni Braxton, 51, was seen serenading top Nigerian politicians at a recent social event has surfaced on social media.

In the trending video, the American star donning a black outfit, sang one of her hit songs to the guests. Then suddenly goes into a warm embrace with the guests one after the other, who were mostly politicians, leaving them grinning and blushing from ear to ear.

The event had the likes of the Governor Of Edo, Godwill Obaseki; All Progressive Congress (APC) chieftain, Tonye Cole; and other top politicians, in attendance.

Obaseki Storms Danjuma’s 71st Birthday Celebration

Meanwhile, Edo Governor Godwin Obaseki  recently celebrated Senator Daisy Danjuma’s 71st birthday celebration.

The governor was seen with dignitaries in the pictures smiling and posing for the camera with the celebrant.

We had a great time celebrating with you, our dear Senator Daisy Danjuma, as you turn 71,” the governor wrote in his Instagram post.

He also described Danjuma as a symbol of the Edo woman.

We thank God for His goodness in your life and will always appreciate you for your years of service to the state and the nation, as well as your selfless humanitarian work. Thank you for being an emblem; a symbol of the Edo woman,” he said.
