Ekiti Chief Judge Escapes Death, Hospitalised As Wall Collapses On Him

In what many will term a narrow escape, the Ekiti State Chief Judge, Justice Oyewole Adeyeye, was almost crushed to death when a section of the state high court complex collapsed on him while in office.

Naija News reports that Justice Adeyeye is said to be currently receiving medical attention at an undisclosed hospital in the state after sustaining some injuries.

Adeyeye was still in his chamber when the unfortunate incident occurred around the close of work on Wednesday.

The wall collapse is likely connected to the structural deficit caused by the recent heavy rainfalls.

It was gathered that no life was lost during the incident despite a section of the office collapsing on the judge.

It took serious efforts from workers before the judge was rescued from the rubble.
