Photos From Emir Of Daura’s Visit To Buhari

The Emir of Daura, Faruk Umar Faruk on Monday paid a courtesy visit to the immediate past President, Muhammadu Buhari.

Naija News reports the Emir visited Buhari alongside his council members at the residence of the former President in Daura, Katsina State.

Recall that the former Nigerian leader just returned to Nigeria on Sunday, July 9, after a trip to London, United Kingdom.

However, the visit of the monarch has quashed rumours about Buhari fleeing the country and living in exile after handing over the presidency to President Bola Tinubu.

In a statement on Sunday, the spokesman to Buhari, Garba Shehu, said a newspaper claim that Buhari has taken exile is false, baseless and should be disregarded.

Shehu confirmed that Buhari is currently at his Daura residence in Katsina state, spending time with his family.

The former presidential spokesman, therefore,  counselled media outlets to verify their information before publication.
