Ondo-Based Chef Set New Record, Completes 150 Hours Of Marathon Cooking

Ondo-based chef, Adeola Adeyeye, also known as ‘Chef Deo,’ has set a new record by completing 150 hours of non-stop cooking by a single individual.

Naija News reports that Adeyeye completed a 150-hour cook-a-thon in the late hours of Thursday, July 6th 2023, beating the current record of 100 hours (93 official hours) set by chef Hilda Baci.

The chef had earlier revealed that got approval from Guinness World Records before commencing the cooking marathon.

In the trending video, a large crowd gathered at the venue of the event in Ile-Oluji, the headquarters of Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Local Government in Ondo State to celebrate with chef Don over her new feat.

Her manager, Ayotunde Fagbamiye, had earlier conveyed the chef’s optimism and enthusiasm in accomplishing the task and becoming the new record holder.

He said; “Guinness World Records granted her approval to undertake the cook-a-thon. We were elated upon receiving the notification that she can proceed to break the record for an individual’s cooking marathon.

“She possesses great energy and is prepared to cook for 150 hours. Her passion and determination are evident, and I am confident she will successfully reach the end of this journey.”
