Peter Obi Reacts To Death Of Popular Nigerian Prophet And Church Founder
The Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate in the 2023 election, Peter Obi, has reacted to the death of popular Nigerian evangelist and founder of Christ Apostolic Church, Oke-Agbara, Asi Bodija, Prophet Michael Ojo Olowere, known as Baba Olowere.
Naija News earlier reported that the clergyman died on Wednesday at his Asi residence in Ibadan.
Comedian Woli Arole also took to his Facebook account to confirm the prophet’s passing.
He praised him for his good work towards humanity while he was alive.
Reacting to the Prophet’s demise, Peter Obi, in a post via Twitter on Thursday, said Baba Olowere, was a very respected minister of the gospel, who contributed to missionary and societal growth.
According to the former governor of Anambra State, Baba Olowere’s decades of evangelism were very impactful in Oyo State and beyond.
He further commiserated with the immediate family of the deceased and the Christ Apostolic Church over the huge loss.
He tweeted, “I have just received the news of the death of Prophet Michael Olowere, a renowned evangelist and founder of Christ Apostolic Church, Oke-Agbara. He was a very respected minister of the gospel at Christ Apostolic Church. He contributed greatly to missionary and societal growth.
“His many decades of evangelism were very impactful in Oyo State and beyond. I commiserate with his immediate family and Christ Apostolic Church over his demise. May God grant him eternal rest and comfort all who mourn him”
