Sowore Releases Final Breakdown Of 2023 Presidential Election Expenses

The presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) in the just-concluded election, Omoyele Sowore, has berated the Federal Government for spending N12 billion to acquire 10 firefighting trucks for various airports in the country.

Naija News earlier reported that the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, disclosed that the federal government spent a whopping sum of N12 billion to acquire 10 firefighting trucks for various airports in the country.

Sirika, who made the disclosure in a tweet via his official Twitter handle on Sunday, said he commissioned the ten firefighting trucks for the Federal Airports Authority (FAAN).

The minister added that the agency had not bought firefighting trucks in 15 years.

Reacting to the development on his Twitter account on Sunday, Sowore expressed shock that Sirika bought a single fire engine for over $2 million each.

The publisher of SaharaReporters disclosed that the minister and President Muhammadu Buhari had finished Nigeria.

He wrote: “Wow! You mean you bought a single fire engine for over $2 million each. Wonders shall never cease. You and @mbuhari really finished Nigeria!
