Recently sacked manager of Tottenham Hotspur, Antonio Conte has written an emotional farewell to the club and the club’s fans less than a day after the side announced his departure.

Antonio Conte who is one of the most successful coaches to accept the responsibility of heading Spurs less than 16 months ago, left the north London club on mutual consent after he granted an explosive press conference.

In the post-game press conference after struggling Southampton came from 3-1 down to draw 3-3 with Spurs, Conte slammed the mentality of the club’s management that has left the side without a trophy for over 20 years. He also described his players as “selfish”.

Hours after his public attack on the club, the club began to hold meetings with stakeholders, including him, which sparked speculations about his exit.
