The 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, on Thursday, met with the party’s governorship aspirants and stakeholders in Imo State.

In a tweet via his verified Twitter handle, the LP flagbearer said the interactive meeting is to find the way forward for the party in the South East state.

The former Governor of Anambra State disclosed that the meeting was presided over by the National Chairman of the party, Julius Abure.

According to Obi, many grounds need to be covered ahead of the governorship primaries in the state scheduled for 10th April 2023.

He said it is reassuring that the participants agreed to remain constructively engaged, and also work collectively towards seamless and hitch-free primaries.

He wrote: “I’m gratified that Barr. Julius Abure, National Chairman of the Labour Party, and I were able to meet with the Imo State LP Stakeholders and the Governorship Aspirants in an interactive meeting on the way forward in Imo. (phentermine)
