#PlateauDecides: Mixed Up Of INEC Sensitive Materials Recorded in Plateau

Things are said not to be going too smoothly in Plateau state in the ongoing governorship and state house of assembly elections.

Naija News gathered that some results sheets from one local government area were allegedly transferred to another, raising suspicions of sabotage.

Aside from the mixed-up of some sensitive election materials, it was gathered that there has been a low turnout of voters in most of the polling units.

It was learned that officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) arrived at different polling units as early as 8:40 am but had to sit idle for minutes before voters started arriving.

Most areas in the state from the Bukuru metropolis to a part of Barkin Ladi local government of Jos, the state capital, seemed to bubble like there was no election.

Meanwhile, voting started in some polling units of 028 in Ugwa Abuja, Tudun Wada of Jos North in Plateau State at around 9:45 am. The polling unit has 947 registered voters.
