Apostle Suleman Speaks On Peter Obi's Court Case Against President-Elect, Tinubu
Apostle Johnson Suleman

The Senior Pastor and founder of the Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has reacted to the court suit instituted by Peter Obi challenging the victory of Nigeria’s President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Last week, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced Tinubu as the winner of the February 25th presidential election.

Tinubu, according to INEC, defeated Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Obi of the Labour Party to emerge winner.

Not long after INEC’s declaration, Obi and Atiku approached court, alleging there were rigging during the presidential election. The duo claimed they won the fiercely contested poll.

Naija News understands that a video has since surfaced on the internet showing Apostle Suleman, asking candidates to forget about pursuing legal action in a bid to reclaim their stolen mandate.

Reacting to the viral clip, Apostle Suleman explained that the video trending on social media was part of his message in 2015 and 2019, stressing that it’s not current.

In a tweet, Apostle Suleman reiterated his support for the former Governor of Anambra State, urging the public to disregard the video because it’s not directed at Obi.

“I was just told that a video where I told people after the 2015 or 2019 election to forget about the courts is being circulated like I said it recently. Lol. I am solidly behind Peter Obi going to court. I have never said otherwise in secret or public, disregard,” the cleric wrote on Twitter.
