The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has pushed the time for the collation of results for the 2023 presidential election at the International Conference Centre in Abuja to 2 pm.

Naija News gathered that INEC National Commissioner, Festus Okoye, at 12 noon on Tuesday announced that collation will resume at 2 pm.

The INEC National Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu had earlier adjourned the collation to 11 am on Tuesday to give time to the state collation officers for the presidential election (SCOPs) in the remaining states.

However, at about 12 noon, Okoye told the pressmen the collation has been moved to 2 pm today.

He explained that though results from five states are available, INEC still awaits results from at least 10 more states to join today’s collation.

It would be recalled that the collation of results from the state started on Sunday, and Monday’s collation had ended a few minutes past 10 pm.
