#NigeriaDecides: Tinubu Maintains Lead In Rivers With Win In Nine LGAs

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu has sustained his lead in Rivers State.

Naija News reports that the APC flag bearer has so far won in nine LGAs of the states as collation has gone on break.

Rivers Collation Officer, Prof. Charles Teddy Adias, the Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University Otuoke announced the results in the presence of the Rivers State Electoral Commissioner, Johnson Sinikiem.

It was gathered that a breakdown of the results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) shows that Tinubu leads in the nine LGA with a total vote of 92, 023 to defeat his major contenders in the race.

While Tinubu won nine LGAs, Obi won two councils and Atiku won none of the councils.

The APC candidate won in Asari-Toru, Oyigbo, Abua Odua, Omuma, Gokana, Emohua, Eleme, Tai and Opobo Nkoro while Obi won in Bonny and Ahoada West.

The centre took a break to wait for results from the 12 other local government areas.
